My High School Friends - Pepperoni Pizza

All I can say, I adored them.. They used to play the No Doubt's songs. Even on earlier age, they used to play Kittie's songs... But then, when I'm on my 3rd year in High school, they asked me to play the bass position with them.. I felt awesome! :)

Donor Darah

Hari ini aku memutuskan untuk ngajak Ibu dan Ayah ikut donor darah. Akhirnya Ayah aja yang ikutan. And now, I'm a little bit dizzy, and want to sleep some more. Ya, tadi udah tidur dan baru kebangun jam setengah sepuluh.

A whole new level of Window Shopping (for me)

My aunt says it's okay to try dress and shoes then took a picture of it. So I did.

And when I entered the store, I was stunned with this pink shoe! It was electric!!!!!!!

My Mom recommended this one. I like the pink one better. As I said, E-LEC-TRIC!







Same goes with this black one, actually I picked this one. But the pink one is still the winner.




This is the dress. At first, I was looking for a pair of shoe for me, high-heels. But then I saw this women holding this lovely dress. Actually she was holding the other one but then a lightning strikes me! Just like the pink shoe, ELECTRIC!!!!





And this is the last dress that I put on. It's quite a "cinderella" dress, with it's fluffy design. This one is pretty, but again, the first dress was E-LEC-TRIC! LOL









I must say, this is a whole new level of window shopping for me. I never tried things this much before. And I'm happy with the result. Guess which one that I finally bought?

Anti xxx Band

Today, well exactly right now, I'm on an event, Ardan's 20th anniversary @ sabuga. And I love most of them, well actually 2 are on my most wanted list, and the other are just awesome. (I will write about it later, with photos)

Anyway, I wanna talk about one of this Jakarta band, called Pee Wee Gaskins. Not that I don't like them, but it's just not my taste. :D but I have to say, my camera loves their faces. Why? Cause they're like laughing at the crowds. Their fans, called Party Dork-ers (cmiiw), are being booed at by the APWG. The anti Pee Wee Gaskins. And the APWG even giving them the middle fingers. Yes, middle fingers all the way, 2 songs. Then the heavy rain interrupted. I guess God knows best :)

Islamic Hijab

So I was browsing one day, and found this poem, well actually a blog that called "Isalmic Poems" and fell in love with this one poem, about hijab... so here it goes :)

What do you see when you look at me
Do you see someone limited, or someone free
All some people can do is just look and stare
Simply because they can't see my hair

Others think I am controlled and uneducated
They think that I am limited and un-liberated
They are so thankful that they are not me
Because they would like to remain 'free'

Well free isn't exactly the word I would've used
Describing women who are cheated on and abused
They think that I do not have opinions or voice
They think that being hooded isn't my choice

They think that the hood makes me look caged

Jajal Geotrek IV

Sebagai pembuka tulisan ini, Saya ingin mengucapkan terima kasih kepada Annisa Joenoes yang telah mendorong saya untuk ikut Jajal Geotrek IV ini, dan kepada Pak Budi Brahmantyo yang membuat saya tertarik untuk mengikuti Wisata Cekungan Bandung ini. Sebenarnya, dari bulan lalu, saya tidak sabar menunggu datangnya weekend kali ini. karena banyak acara yang membuat saya benar-benar menunggu kedatangan weekend ini. salah satunya adalah Farewell tour nya Copeland..

Beberapa minggu setelah itu, saya dihubungi oleh Annisa untuk mengikuti program Jajal Geotrek, dan ternyata ini sudah jajal geotrek keempat. sebenarnya, jajal geotrek IV ini adalah Geotrek VII menurut buku Pak Bachtiar dan Pak Budi dalam Wisata cekungan Bandung. Saya merasa tertarik karena ini geotrek ini menyusuri sungai Ci tarum yang terkenal kotor dan bau. Nah, track tersebut menyusuri Sungai Ci Tarum Purba, di mana airnya masih bersih.
Pada awalnya saya tidak berminat mengikuti keduanya, Copeland maupun Jajal Geotrek. Tapi, saya didesak terus sehingga menjatuhkan pilihan untuk mengikuti Jajal Geotrek. Hasilnya? Sangat Memuaskan!

Kemarin, tepatnya tanggal 8 Mei 2010, pukul 6 pagi, Ayah saya dan saya sendiri berangkat dari rumah untuk berkumpul di depan kampus pukul 6.30 pagi. Setelah briefing dan perkenalan, akhirnya kami berangkat dari depan kampus ITB ke Sanghyang Tikoro, gua purba, tempat sungai Ci Tarum mengalir. Di sini, baunya sangat menyengat walaupun airnya bersih. Sayang saya tidak berminat mengambil gambarnya. ahaha, maklum, ketika di lapangan, apalagi saya tahu jalannya masih panjang, saya cenderung menyimpan kamera di tas saja -- jiwa dokumentasinya masih kurang kali ya,.. :D tapi saya sempat mengambil gambar dua pipa besar yang mengalirkan air ke turbin untuk PLTA Saguling di bawahnya



setelah itu, kami mulai berjalan menuju Sanghyang Poek... ini nih penampakan dari luarnya...

Di dalamnya terdapat stalaktit yang masih berumur muda, karena berbeda dengan di jatijajar, yang sebelumnya pernah saya kunjungi.

Setelah dari sangyang poek, kami mulai menelusuri sungai CItarum purba yang penuh dengan batuan pasir dan batuan gamping.. (anak geologi, correct me if i'm wrong) banyak pot holes seperti yang terlihat pada gambar di bawah ini


ini sesaat setelah kami keluar dari sanghyang poek, sebenarnya orang-orang yang telah jalan duluan berhenti untuk menunggu rombongan, dan berhentinya di posis ini, di mana ini adalah gambar sungai CItarum yang menuju Sanghyang Tikoro.


dan ini adalah gambar menuju Leuwi Gobang dan Leuwi Malang yang merupakan tujuan berikutnya...



sayangnya hujan turun, sehingga penjelasan untuk leuwi gobang tidak dapat dilakukan, beruntung sekali punya Ayah seorang alumni Teknik Geologi ITB, saya sempat diceritakan betapa bagusnya laipsan batuan tersebut. memang, terlihat batuan yang halus dan kasar potongannya pada satu batuan besar yang letaknya horizontal. sayang gambarnya ada di kamera yang isinya roll film, jadi tidak bisa langsung saya sertakan di sini.

Setelah makan siang, hujan tidak berhenti, sehingga tujuan terakhir dari jajal geotrek ini tidak dapat dilanjutkan. Masih ada Sanghyang Heleut. dapat terlihat di flyer yang telah diberikan sebelumnya, sanghyang heleut terlihat sangat bagus untuk kawasan foto memoto.. hahaha.. sayang euy, mudah-mudahan kuliah lapangan Geologi Cekungan Bandung akan jalan ke sini. Karena saya ingin sekali melihat daerah ini :)
oh ya, blog ini saya akhiri dengan foto saya bersama batu kapur yang saya rasa tempat yang saya duduki adalah pot holenya, tapi bagi saya, bentuknya seperti singgasana nih :) Dan disinilah saya membuat sebuah video ucapan nikahan untuk teman seangkatan saya yang akan nikah bulan ini :D

Pengalaman Nonton bersama 53orang

Sudah beberapa kali nonton di Bioskop, ada satu pengalaman paling nempel di ingatan.
Ada yang pernah nonton film Merah Putih? Itu loh, film tentang merebut kemerdekaan. Keluarnya tahun lalu.
Kebetulan ketika keluar di bioskop-bioskop, salah satu teman se SMA mengajak saya nonton film ini. Ternyata nontonnya sama anak Teknik Elektro dari beberapa angkatan, dengan total 53orang! Oke, ini bukan kali pertama saya nonton bareng mereka, pernah juga waktu itu nonton.. apa ya.. Hahaha pokoknya, yang ini yang paling ngena!
Jadi, dengan total 53org, kami dapat tempat duduk di tengah. Temanku, Iman, yang ngajak aku ikutan nonton, duduk di sebelah, dan dia takut kalau filmnya gak rame. Memang begitu juga yang aku dengar. Dan betul saja saudara-saudara. Banyak yang membuat kami kecewa. Awalnya aku tidak menunjukkannya, karena gak enak sama Imannya, tapi ternyata diapun berkomentar. Untungnya, anak-anak yang lain ikut bersorak ketika ada adegan heroik atau romantis. Jadinya kebawa fun, dan setelah film selesai, Iman meminta maaf kepada teman2nya karena merekomendasikan nonton bareng film ini.

Tapi beneran deh, itu pengalaman paling rame nonton bareng. Bersama lebih dari 50orang anak-anak yang kuanggap cerdas, teknik elektro gituuu.. Dan sorakan di dalam bioskop yang ngebuat pengalaman nonton film yang, maaf, mengecewakan menjadi suatu hal yang menyenangkan. Thanks for the memories, Man! Hahaha..

Late Night's Random Thoughts

Okay, actually I was just trying if posting with my phone's working, with a picture attached to it.
I have no problem posting any pictures to my Tumblr or using my Sony Ericsson K770i.
My random thoughts for tonight is just, after watched yet again, Brokeback Mountain, I have to say, the most common idiom, "don't judge a book by its cover" which means "don't determine the worth of something based on its appearance" --> thanks to wikipedia. So what do you think about Brokeback Mountain? All I see from tonight's "movie time" with warnet gaul's boys is the "kimpoy"'s part. The sex scene. And that's not what I see. I see a romantic film, yeah I've seen it several time, but still, all I can see is the romance of it. Be more open minded and see beyond it. I know you can put aside anything dirrrrty from your mind :)
So sit back, enjoy the movies and try to see what the movie's telling you about. It can be explicit, or even implicit.

We're all Branded

Pernah merhatiin setiap status update di Facebook, Twitter, atau scrobbling Last.fm menggunakan apa gak? kalo FB dan Twitter bisa kita liat tanda "BB" atau pake aplikasi apa kita update statusnya. oke, aku gak masalah kalo yang pake aplikasi apa... tapi kalo udah menyebutkan merk HandPhone, tampaknya terlalu branded banget.

Sama seperti scrobbling Last.fm.. *baru merhatiin sekarang*..
Itu ada tulisannya Scrobbling with iTunes Mac, *yes, I'm using mac*.. tapi ini semua seperti membeda2kan si ini pake apa, si itu pake apa.. lalalala.. mungkin maksutnya survey itung2an yang mana paling banyak dipake masyarakat SEDUNIA kali ya..

Tonight, Tonight

I always remember when Annisa's being brave to walk on stage on one of my senior's wedding reception. She sang L-O-V-E, and it was Good. She's got wonderful voice. As in for me? I don't have the kind of vibration in my voice and all, but i love my voice. So today, while Odit, Fakhri, Dayu, and I were eating what we used to call SURABI, there's this little stage and Dayu wants to play Drive by Incubus. I took the courage to walk on that stage and sing that song. Of course, with Dayu! Phew.. As usual, it's a hard song for me cause my voice can't reach the low notes, but I'm happy that I have the same what-the-hey feelings as Annisa. To walk on stage with unknown people watching us play up there, stealing the band's spotlight. I'm happy :)

Selamat Hari Raya Nyepi Untuk yang Merayakan :)

Selamat Hari Raya Nyepi!!!!! Hari ini, penyakit Ayah -- yang sebenarnya sangat menyenangkan -- kambuh kembali.. yaitu, jalan-jalan.. kali ini ngajaknya gak jauh-jauh kok.. Sumedang saja. Anak-anak pada nanyain, "Ngapain ke Sumedang? Beli tahu ya?!" dengan nada ngeledek. I Hate to say it, but they're right. di mana? Tahu Bungkeng.



We actually ordered the first 20s tofu. (as you can see from the image below) And ordered another 20s. With a total 20 lontongs. ngaahhahah.



Selama perjalanan dari depan Unpad Jatinangor sampe ke Sumedang, Ibu nyariin jeruk Bali. katanya sih enak dimakan dengan sambel atau kecap dan cengek (cabe rawit). akhirnya di depan tempat beli tahu sumedang, ada yang jualan Jeruk Bali. -- mentang-mentang nyepi, belinya jeruk bali. Eits! gak kok. kebetulan aja :D



Katanya, kalo agama lain sedang merayakan Hari Raya agamanya, kita harus tenggang rasa. Oke, hari ini juga, setelah bersenang makan-makan, mampirlah ke kuburannya Mbah, yang kerap dipanggil Mbah Emon, tepatnya Ibunya si Opa saya. Ubinnya gak keurus karena jarang banget keluarga yang dateng untuk ngeliatin kuburannya si Mbah. ini aja kali keduanya saya ke sini. dan kali pertama saya ke sini adalah 10 tahun yang lalu, ketika muka ini masih muda belia. *ngahaha.. Si ibu di panggil "Agan" sama yang jaga kuburan. Serasa di Kaskus aja nih.. tapi kata Ibu, memang sukak dipanggil gitu kalo dateng..



Sebenernya si Mbah ditawarin untuk dikuburkan di dalam 'kerangkeng'. hehe, maksutnya di dalem pagar, bersama keluarga Raden nya. tapi beliau menolak dan minta untuk dikuburkan di tempatnya saat ini. Ceunah biar bisa ngeliat orang bersawah di depan tempat kuburan ini.. lalalalaaa...

What CDs? I want them with Tees!!!

This is a big weekend for me. It all started with this pre-ordered Goodboy Badminton's CD + T-shirt... I have to admit, I immediately pre ordered it. I don't know that i had to wait for a confirmation before pick it up... So my friend and I went to see where I can pick it up.. We ended up going nowhere, stressed out by the traffic, and being told that the cd and tees hasn't ready... After 1 week, more or less, I got the confirmation, and went down to find the place to pick it up.. I think my friend and I have to spent one and a half hour to find it.. but it all worth it.. The tees is beautiful (full printed, exactly the kind of tees that i like), and the the tracks is, well, awesome! I recommend you to buy them :D


Okay, so last Saturday night, I spent my night with Blink Corp Indonesia forum.. and one of them told me about Sweet Punch for Kids.. I didn't know them, so he played one of their songs, it's catchy and just like what he said, it's like Four Year Strong.. So as I browse my last.fm account, I saw this band called danger ranger, and there's a link where i can download 3 of their songs... and i love it! I ended up seeing their Facebook page and saw that they're releasing an EP.. I tried to preordered it, but failed.. so I went to Dead Heartz's store, and bought this... I love their sound... !!!! and the Tee? Just like what I wanted.. I haven't got any racerkids shirt, so I guess this is like double-attack pleasure or something >:D

Yeah well maybe they will burst into fire for a little while, or made them cry-a-river, but if they are your true love or your true friends, they will bounce back and will tell their own opinion to you.. And then you'll have a real conversation..

It's all about opening your mind, share things, whether you're wrong or right. Live is about learning things, try to understand people around you.. Right? Especially your significant other or your own bestfriends.

Hum.. Tulisan ini udah oke belum? Aku pengen nyampein perasaan aku aja.. Tiba2 ngerasa gak enak.. Mungkin udah saatnya kita semua mikirin ini.. Karena kita cewe dan sering bergosip.. Ya gak eceu? Hehe..

Aku mau cerita apa ya.. Oh ya, semalem aku makan sama puput di pak Gino dan sodara2, di sana melihat kecoa segede gaban dan terbang aja gitu ke piringnya Puput.. Untung aku makan udah kelar dan dia makan juga udah tinggal kuah dan kerupuk sajaaaa.. Tapi itu yang namanya kenikmatan makanan jadi sangat hilaaaang!!!! Iiiih jijaaaay...

Dan semalem jalan2 keliling bandung gak jelas gitu.. Ketemu cewe pinggiran jalan.. Hehe.. Tumben berani keluar malam minggu.. Untung jalanan gak terlalu macet, jadi demen aja tuh jalan2. *lagi pengen cerita aja*..

Oh ya, prakompre dan ujian kompre nya berjarak berapa lama gitu? Pengen sih, tapi kalo terlalu deket, ntar aja deh.. Gelombang kedua :D hehe maaf joe.. Hehe
